Our 3 Step
Mediation Process:

Once you and your (ex) spouse agree to start the mediation process, each of you must first meet with your mediator(s) individually for 1 hour.

This intake session will allow the mediators to understand the issues in dispute & how best to help you. A screening for power imbalances & domestic violence is also done at this stage.

 Most families need about two mediation sessions scheduled at about 2 to 3 hours each. 

At these mediation sessions, we will assist you with the significant financial disclosure requirements under the law and ensure you understand your rights & obligations. 

Nothing happens without your consent and you're supported to create a plan that works best for your family as a whole.

Once you have agreed on all the major legal elements, we will draft a separation agreement. 

The separation agreement will cover all relevant aspects of your separation, including: property division, child support, spousal support and a parenting plan. 

We will then review the draft with you to make sure it reflects your expectations. Once signed, this is a legally binding document.
